Any similarities is completely coincidental
I made up my own gradient for this Tag - HERE
Lets Get Started!
Open up your Template, delete the text layer.
Open up folder called Atomicrushpapersdnscraps.
For each section of the template I chose a different paper.
I will provide you with the resize of each paper but the format to apply each is the same.
So I will walk you through using the background oval as my example then list layer and paper I used for remaining.
Open up Paper #13, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer. Click on your Raster 9 layer (grey oval) , Selections-select all
select float- select invert - now click on your paper #13 layer, click delete, then select none.
Apply gradient glow with these settings.
You now can delete The original grey oval. Repeat this format for each layer of the template.
Except for Raster 2 - long rectangle, where I just applied a New raster Layer, floodfilled it white, Adjust- Add/Remove noise - Add noise - settings
Random checked, Monochrome checked, 60%. Then apply the gradient glow to the Layer.
Also the middle circle Raster 6 I used just the color #865da9 (purple), without the noise.
Raster 7 -used paper 11 - resized 20%
Raster 4 - used paper 2 - resized 10%
Raster 3 - used paper 6 -resized 10%
Raster 8 - used paper 5 - resized 10%
Make sure all the original layers are deleted, once you have made a new one with your chosen backgrounds.
Move your gradient, into your gradient folder.
I have my extra ones in my documents/mypspfolders/gradients.
Open up folder Atomicrushelementsdnscraps. Open up frame ribbon2, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer.
Image-Free rotate, rotate right 25. (Make sure all layers is NOT checked) Place this frame where you would like it. (See my tag for reference)
Minimize your PSP for a moment.
Move your gradient, into your gradient folder. I have my extra ones in my documents/mypspfolders/gradients. Remember where you moved it to.
Open your PSP and go to your materials box- the top colored box is your forgeound box, click on it, Your material properties box opens, click on the middle tab (gradient),
click on the picture displayed, at the top you will see 3 yellow file folders (file locations button) click on this.
Click on ADD, now browse the larger window till you see the folder where you saved the gradient to.
Easiest way is to copy the addy when you moved it, then place that addy in address bar in the browse section. Once located click ok.
Now when you click on the current displayed gradient, you will see the gradient AR listed, click on it, then click OK. Now it should show up on your material box.
Create new layer, flood fill with that gradient with the settings- Angle 45, repeats 6 , linear checked, click on first button under Stle (linear button).
Now go to your Frame layer, using your Selections Tool- magic wand Mode -Add-Match Mode-RBG Value, Tolerance 20, click on the inside of the frame.
You will see dancing ants- Selections-Modify -Expand by 3 ,Selection Invert, on your gradient layer click delete then select none.
Move this layer below your frame layer. On the gradient layer Adjust, Add Noise Random, Monochrome and 25.
Select your tube you want in that frame. Paste it as a new layer, resize it if necessary, I rotated mine 25 right to match the frame.
Follow the steps above to make your tube the same size as the frame, when done layer it just below the frame but above the gradient background.
Click back on your tube layer, apply Luminance(L) and drop the opacity of this layer to 60.
Click on your green frame layer again..apply the gradient glow to it as you did to all your background layers.
Chose what other tube you would like, copy and paste it as a new layer, apply d/s of 3, 3, 50, 5
Now it's time for your elements and boy this kit has tons to choose from. I will list the ones I used and what resizing I did.
See my tag for its placement.
Fastner 3- resized 25%, sharpened image flipped, gradient glow applied as before.
Buckle 3 - resized 20%, gradient glow as applied before, place where you want it, duplicate, drag one layer under the fastner,
on the top layer take your eraser tool, and erase one section, so that the loop from fastner shows.
Bow 6 - resized 20%, applied gradient glow, then drop shadow 2,2,50,3
Button glass3- resized it 50%, applied gradient glow, sent to bottom just above white background.
Curled ribbon- resized 50%, applied gradient glow, placed where i wanted it, then duplicated my tube, place on layer below the ribbon, on the top tube layer
I used my eraser tool, (zoomed in image) and using a small circular eraser, carefully followed the ribbons edge in 2 sections so it appears as if she stands through it.
X out your white background layer, merge the rest, New Raster layer, floodfill with color from image. Open your mask, minimize. On your floodfilled layer,
Layers, new mask layer- from image- now in the source window find your mask, Source luminance checked, click ok. Right click on top mask layer, merge group.
I used the pick tool to expand the mask to fit where I wanted it. Then I duplicated the mask, mirrored and flipped the duplicate. Merge all layers. Resize 90%.
One final thing I did, an option in PSPX2 was Adjust- sharpen- High Pass sharpen to the finished image- just gives it the crips edge I was looking for.
