This tutorial was written on 08.27.11 by Dee
Any similarities is completely coincidental

Open up Template, Shift D and close original.
Delete the info layer.
*For this tutorial C/P means copy element or paper and paste as a new layer.
*Also when I suggest clicking on a layer first before you C/P its for placement purposes.

Lets do the word layer first, so we can merge them together to move.
Click on your black lettering layer, C/P Paper 2 , on black lettering layer, Selections- select all, select float, select modify, contact by 1, select invert, on your paper layer hit delete, select none.
Adjust, Add/Remove Noise with these settings.

On the grey letter layer (was suppose to be white lol) we will change to white by go to Adjust, brightness and contrast, use your sliders, till the preview shows white... settings should be 255 and 100. Now go to the Papered lettering layer, right click, merge down, do this a total of 3 times so all the lettering layers (including d/s) are now 1 layer. Now  click on the eye to close it out for now (we will move it to where we want it later).

Now we will change the shapes, using the papers listed.
Large Black Square - Paper 1
Med Grey Rectangle- Paper 2
Lrg Grey Rectangle - Paper 8
Grey Circles           - Paper 3
Black  Flower Shapes - Paper 1
White Flower Shapes - Paper 2

To do this  click on the layer you are replacing, C/P paper, on the shape layer, Select All, select float, select invert, on the paper layer hit your delete button then Selet none. Now delete the original Shape. Now one by one go to each paper shape layer, Effects, 3 D effects, drop shadow, apply with these settings.
*Please note that I apply the d/s as a new layer!
Now lets choose 2 close ups, one for each of the pink flower shapes. C/P tube, arrange it how you want it over the shape, on shape layer, select all, select float, on tube layer, hit delete, select none.  Change the opacity of your tube layer to 48%. Duplicate your tube layer (it too will have the opacity at 48), on the bottom tube layer apply a d/s with these settings. Now where your tube hits the edge of the flower shape the shadow became very dark, to eliminate that, click on the pink flower shape, select all, select float, select invert, now on the corresponding tube shadow hit delete, select none.
Repeat this for your other pink flower shape and closeup.
Open up element tag2, C/P, resize 50%, Image free rotate (all layers unchecked) rotate item 15 degrees left. Apply same d/s as you did your close up tubes. arrange it as in the preview below.

Click on your very top tube layer.
Open up your framewrap2 element, C/P, it will automatically center when you paste. Now click on your brown rectangle layer, Select All, select float, select invert, on the element layer hit delete, select none. I added a very small d/s to this element. Change your d/s settings to 2,1,25,1 then hit ok.
Open up framewrap1 element, C/P, resize it 50%, using same method as above to fit it to the size of the brown paper. Apply the same d/s as you did to your close up tubes (4,2,70,4). Open up the ladder element C/P resize it 50% and apply the same d/s. Arrange it as in preview.

Open up flower1 C/P, resize it 40%, arrange it on ladder (will show preview in a moment), duplicate mirror, Image free roate 15 degrees right, align it up on top of the other so that the bottom stems look like just one. Apply d/s (4,2,70,4). Open up ribbon1, C/P resize it 25%, apply same d/s and arrange it on ladder. Preview below.

Click on your bow layer.
Now open up your main tube, C/P and place where you want it. This is how I added the flag to the tube. Open up your flag element, C/P, image resize 50%, Image free rotate 50 degrees left (make sure all layers is unchecked!) Now place the flag across her hand, below the fore finger crease. (see preview).
Apply same d/s. Now on your main tube layer, using your magic wand tube, with settings Add/Shift, Match Mode Color, Tolerance 25, click on her wrist, and marching ants should appear as in preview. If the inside of her hand shows up in yours, try lowering the tolerance.
On your top flag layer hit delete, then click on your drop shadow layer and hit delete, select none. Now add a d/s to your main tube with these settings 7,5,60,7.Open up flower2,C/P, reze 20%. Adjust sharpen. Duplicate twice, arrange on your flowers ends going up the ladder, apply same d/s as before (4,2,70,4). (See my image for placement)
Open up bird element, C/P, resize it 25%, arrange on ladder, apply same d/s. Now unhide your word layer and arrange it where you want it. Click on your top layer.Open up flower2, C/P, arrange it to the right top of your image and drag that layer down to just above your top close up layer (tube in the pink flower shape). Arrange it to where you want it, apply same d/s. Click on top layer again, open up flower2, C/P resize it 50%, arrange it bottom left corner, drag this layer just below your main tube layer, apply same d/s. Click on top layer, Open up the net element, C/P, resize it 75%, Image mirror, Image free rotate 65 degrees right. Arrange to bottom of your tag. Right click on layer, arrange send to bottom then drag it up one layer (above your white bg layer), apply small d/s with settings 2,1,30,2. Back on top layer. Open up leaves element C/P, resize 50%, arrange bottom right corner so it
sticks out paste the ladder, Right click, send layer to bottom, then drag that layer up above the net layer, apply the same small d/s, duplicate and mirror both the leaves and the d/s.
Click on your bottom white layer.
Open up Paper 8 C/P.
Open your mask, minimize it . Back on your image go to layers, New Mask Layers, From Image, in the source window find the mask, have source luminance checked and click ok. In your layers window  you will see 3 layers of the mask, go to top one of those 3, right click, merge group. If you need to align the mask, just go to pick tool and using the lil arrows stretch it to where you want it.
Add your copyright and Text.
My Text
My chosen name font was Adresack!, Download and install.
Open up Paper2, minimize, in your background layer box, go to  the lil black circle on the left, click on it then click on the broken circle (Pattern), now click on the viewing window and the properties box appears, on your patterned tab, click on the lil arrow by the view box, select the paper, angle 0, scale 0, hit ok. Click on your top view box, materials color and choose one ( I chose #42261b - dark brown from my image). Now set the Stroke width to 2, your font size to 100, Click on your image top layer and type out the name, convert to raster. Adjust add noise like you did to the tags main text. Adjust, sharpen, now add a d/s to your font (7,5,40,7)
*One thing I like to do before I save as either a .png or jpg is, using my selection tool, trace out a box just inside your work edge, then crop to selection. This will get rid of any extra shadows or papers that may be unnoticle until afterwards.
Now to save this as a transparent image, delete the bottom white layer, Merge visible and in the Save As box, change the setting to .png format.

I would love to see your results!! xoxo
